Debris Flows

My Blogs (olelog) are mainly based on my daily reading of earth science news.

Here on whatonearth.olehnielsen.dk I try to weave some of the pieces together to a greater whole with added background info.

Debris flows are rapid movement of rocks, soil, water, and vegetation downhill. A debris flow could be a mudslide or a landslide, depending on the amount of water present.

Debris flows can be triggered ny heavy rains, earthquakes, or volcanic eruptions.
